Name and address of the Centre Affiliated clubs including contact details, telephone number, email address, website and other club activity details.

Dates of upcoming events for the current year 

Event results and photographs associated with such events

Name and address of the Executive Committee and Honorary Members,   including  contact details, telephone number, and email address and other personal data relating to the  operation of Centre business.

Sponsors details

The purpose of the EMC website is informative and will only detail the information provided to EMC by Centre Clubs, and associate members and/or riders.  The EMC website currently only provides a link to send an email and does not require a submission form to be completed.   

The information detailed on the EMRA website is also informative and is relevant to the events held by the Association.  Membership logon is provided with an option to submit an enquiry via email 

What we do with the information held on the websites

Internal record keeping

We may use the information to advise you (by email/letter/telephone of Centre and ACU related activities, products and services. Information may be forwarded to the Auto Cycle Union as part of the administrative requirements in accordance with the National Sporting Code/Supplementary Regulations and any conditions as detailed at the point of entry of any ACU permitted event.  

Our websites may contain links to other websites of interest.  However, once you have used these links to leave our site you should note that we do not have any control over that other website.  Therefore we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any other information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.  You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement application to the website in question.

Controlling your personal information.

The collection or use of your personal information can be restricted in the following ways.


When you (Centre Clubs) complete the Affiliation Form each year, you will be made aware that the club information and related activities will be held on the website and held centrally by the Centre and that you may receive communication (email /post/telephone) about the Centre and ACU related matters.  

Newly elected Executive Committee Members or Honorary Members of EMC will be made aware that at the point of election to the Committee, their data will be published on the website and used as part of the operation of Centre activities.  


Riders/promoters will be made aware upon completion of the entry and membership forms  that data will be collected.

If individuals do not wish their personal details, personal data held centrally, or individual results/photographs publicised on either website, notification must be sent in writing to the contact details below.

EMC and EMRA will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.  We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting.

If you have previously agreed for us to use your personal information, you may change your mind at any time.  This must be in writing to contact details below.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.  If you could like a copy of the information held on you, this must be in writing to the contact details below.
